  • Future Metadata IG meetings postponed until after Northridge meeting

  • Utilize time at Northridge to strategize/prepare for transition of the IG into a more formal committee (TBD)

Action items

  • Bibliographic citation formatting (MLA, APA, etc.) and policy (i.e., revise if user inputs incorrectly?)
  • Policy on controlled vocabulary for personal/corporate name headings: Add on an ad hoc basis until field can be linked to authority file?
  • Finalize/Approve CSU controlled vocab lists (Degree level, Degree name)
  • Review date types (might require seeing how data migrated into Hyrax)
  • Controlled vocab or scheme for Spatial and Temporal coverage fields: FAST? GeoNames?
  • Rights Statements and Licenses: Create some guidance for depositors (users and admin)? Other ideas or suggestions?
