A recommendation and technical documentation is needed regarding implementing ORCID identifiers as a metadata element in Samvera. 

HypothesisWe believe that integrating ORCID identifiers into Samvera's metadata and interface features will improve the identification of and organization of works contributed to CSU ScholarWorks.

    • Would enable integrations for other apps (e.g., OJS)

  • Documentation regarding the technical requirements of the integration
