Digital Archives Working Group

• Last couple of years doing background work on a potential systemwide digital archives

  • Needs are a bit different from that of the IR

  • Reached out to campuses to get feedback

  • Developed campus self-evaluation tool

  • Developed DAMS evaluation tool

  • Assembled functional requirements for digital archives

  • evaluated Alma-Digital

• Currently evaluating a pilot digital archives system

  • using Hyrax w/ 6,500 records from six campuses

  • what areas need additional development?

  • who is interested in using a shared system?

    • even just harvesting the data

• Working on divergent metadata issues
