Working group updates

WG liason

• IRWG: Will be adding an “about” page that will be linked from the header and will include visibility settings/access level information. As it is now, someone has to actually upload an item in order to see the deposit agreement/access information.

  • We discussed ways to make people outside of the library “managers” for their own materials going into SW. More info in the meeting notes from 11/3.

  • Working with Dave to improve the statistics and make them more useful. We will move forward without the historical data being available right away. It will be added later, but not a top priority.

  • SW toolkit still on the “to-do” list.

• DAWG: completed beta testing phase

  • Yoko: metadata meetings / application profiles

  • linked data task force; survey for system

  • preservation & applying guidelines; & documenting procedures;

  • plus best practices;
