Leftover projects from last year
All
RapidILL Lending Notes
Action Item: Kirstie Genzel (Unlicensed) Will send out invitations to the TS list (and possibly SRDC) for 2 additional Q&A sessions on Friday, September 22nd.
Cleaning up ERM Wiki
Action Item: Committee Members have been asked to review the existing documentation on the ERM wiki pages and start thinking about ways to better organize the info. At the next meeting we will come up with categories/themes and assign tasks to individual members.
Kirstie Genzel (Unlicensed) contacted Brandon to ask that all committee members be provided editing access to Confluence.
Future ERM Open Forums
All
TS Open Forums have been canceled in favor of Resource Management and ERM having their own.
How often should we have them? Undecided.
Action Item (s): We identified “Licenses” as a future topic for an ERM open forum.
Possibly create and distribute a survey to the CSUs to gather information on use of the license feature of Alma. Identify campuses that have made full use of it and see if they’d be willing to present.
Greta Heng (Unlicensed) emailed ExLibris (Laura West and Dawn Devine) to see what kind of support they could offer on this topic).
If we can’t get volunteers, the committee may need to do some investigation/testing and then present something themselves.
The committee briefly discussed the possibility of using the open forums as a way to update the CSU community on new ERM features.
Additional projects to work on this year
All
What else does the committee want to accomplish?
Establishing some sort of mentorship for new CSU ERM folk was briefly discussed.
We’d like to find some way to preserve/pass down some institutional knowledge related to consortia ERM in the CSU.
Control the Ability to Ignore Title Based Link Resolving
?
Table until next meeting
New feature added in August release that can deactivate “fuzzy” searches in Alma for Primo. Fuzzy search is the default, if there is no match on identifier or title, a fuzzy match is enacted on a possible title match. Can be deactivated.
