Updates, Announcements, Additions to Agenda

  • Adding another link on the RSFC main page to the Courier Problem Report Form per Meghann’s suggestion.

CSU+ for CalState Walk-in users


  • Update from Steering Committee meeting

    • No consensus reached yet.

    • But there is an API for adding requests into Alma, which would require a separate form for each campus. Where would the form live? What happens if a regular local user (with a proper login) uses the form?

Task forces

  • Deadline to sign up was 2/16.

    • 10 sign-ups for CONTU and 6 for ILLiad Updates

  • How should we proceed?

    • Create a Doodle poll to set up the first meeting for each group.

CSU/UC Collaboration

  • Chris and Natalya are meeting with UCSD to discuss their interest in reciprocal service and courier with the CSUs. More information should come from that about how the UCs operate.

  • If we could get some of the two-stop locations to reduce to one stop, we can move a few stops to new locations.

  • What if the UCs would be willing to pay half?

  • Start filling a Google folder with copies of what our current (and various) reciprocal agreements with the UCs might be.

Primo/Alma Satisfaction Survey

  • Which three issues do we want to address with ExL? They want to talk to us directly about specific case examples--no generalities.

    • Set up a Google Doc to lay out the three cases.

    • We should find out how many campuses are impacted by the three issues.

    • Possible top three issues:

      • Having to create multiple libraries rather than simple pickup locations

      • ILLiad to ALMA ignorelenderduedate issue

      • Convert to Resource Sharing button

      • CalState Walk-In issues

  • Chris Lee will add another link to the Courier Problem Report Form on the RSFC page.
  • Test the API for adding requests into Alma for possible walk-in patron use.
