Name for Digital Archives Repository

Carmen Mitchell (Unlicensed)

• The results are in!

• The “CSU Digital Archives” is the name selected and it will be announced at the upcoming annual meeting in June

• Carolyn Chun from East Bay is the winner! CM will email her about getting her the swag.

Need a new host for the Digital Repositories Annual Meeting

Carmen Mitchell (Unlicensed)

• SFSU can no longer host the annual meeting in June

• Maybe we don’t need a host

• 1 Zoom link for the entire meeting, attendees can come and go as they please

• Individual sessions would be recorded by Dave at CO; there will be separate files for individual recordings

• A few DRC members will serve as co-host; email Carmen if interested

Next steps on work forms

David Walker

• Work Forms TF has completed their work

• Dave is putting last few changes into demo site

• Some things we need to do:

  • Headed into Theses submission season, so look to implement new work forms after annual meeting in June (Dave to reach out to Project Managers on timing of this)

  • Dave to meet with ScholarWorks project managers for one final review before June

  • Dave to bring most recent changes to MWG for review (new fields are being introduced and some fields deleted)

  • Dave needs to write several metadata cleanup tasks

  • Mapping for colleges and departments needs to happen
