Report Summary | Post-Migration Task and Check Lists NZ Vendor Records Procedures Model 2 & 3 |
Description | The Post-Migration Task and Check Lists are finished and ready to use for checking electronic resources in Alma. The NZ vendor records continue to be set up and most are finished and ready for migration and use with the Model 2 & 3 procedures. SDLC and 3 libraries met at the CO to discuss the procedures for Model 2 (ECC) and Model 3 (Opt-in). I trained two scenarios for Model 3, showing SDLC the CO section of setting up licenses and purchase orders and then the libraries tested the library section of Model 3. A 3rd Model 3 scenario was discovered in testing the procedures, which are different from scenario 1 & 2. These procedures are still being finalized. Training for Model 2 will be at a later date since the CO and libraries will begin setting up Opt-in resources first, starting July 1, the new Fiscal Year. |
Action Items | Finish the last of the NZ vendor records. Finish the Model 3, 3rd scenario. Send out schedule to libraries when the acquisitions for Opt-in's will begin and which e-collections will first. Notify libraries that full text e-collections will be first before A&I's and Database-only resources. |
